The faith in the power of the crowd. Sounds like a conspiracy theory? Don’t worry, it isn’t.
Open Innovations simply speaks of opening innovation processes. By means of a digital platform on the internet, solution strategies for a concrete problem or challenge of a company can be design and created. This way, external people become part of the process of developing ideas. The involvement of everyone – no matter which industry – often leads to an “out-of-the-box” thinking.
Salzburg is currently working on a funded open innovation competence platform.It should help national agencies and companies with their dares and problems to find sustainable solutions. https://www.openinnovation-salzburg.at
Chaka 2 was part of this first Open Innovation Workshop and will work on new projects that can be outsourced to the crowd.
