Hornbach Projekt-Meisterschaften x Chaka2

Hornbach Projekt-Meisterschaften x Chaka2

For the first time Chaka2 was invited to successfully complete the conception, implementation, and execution of Hornbach’s roadshow – Project Championships. In about 7 weeks, 14 stops were made all over Austria to find Austria’s best do-it-yourselfer. Over 700 participants proved their skills and do-it-yourself abilities at each of the four stations. Racing against the time and defined evaluation points, the results were classified and computed according to an algorithm. Station 1 was wood cutting and required a steady hand. Connecting a siphon was tested at station 2 and proved to be the most challenging station. The extent to which the do-it-yourselfers have project knowledge could be determined at Station 3. The last station was devoted to cutting tiles and made many makers despair with broken tiles.

For the grand final of the project championships, the best candidates from the 14 stops throughout Austria were allowed to compete against each other. Georg, from Leoben, was able to complete all the tasks in the final with excellence and was allowed to travel home at the end of the day with the golden hammer.
