The first non-profit networking event under the name “Vabandln” Summit, which took place in Bramberg am Wildkogel in September, serves to promote the exchange between business, culture and sport. The vision was to bring together like-minded and future-oriented people who interact across different sectors.
On three exciting days, forty motivated personalities experienced an inspiring and varied coming together. In addition to impressive lectures and fireside chats, the focus of the event was on regional stories about culinary, strategy and leadership. Speakers included tornado sailor and Olympic champion Hans Peter Steinacher, legendary tennis coach Günter Bresnik, Trenkwalder CEO Arno Wohlfahrter, timber construction pioneer Erwin Thoma and visionary Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker.
Martin Kaswurm, founder of the “Vabandln Summit”, emphasised: “The summit in Bramberg on the Wildkogel is intended to be a meeting of the most diverse personalities, which should fulfil the purpose of becoming Vabandln (ugs.: networking, connecting) in the midst of the Salzburg mountains. Participants and speakers should have a like-minded exchange in a comfortable atmosphere and proactively discuss socially relevant topics.
Rudi Obauer Jr., founder of the “Vabandln Summit”, underlined: “We want and have to meet today’s challenges with a positive mindset. Therefore, we are bringing international thought leaders from business – culture – sport to Salzburg to ensure a future-oriented exchange with creative and innovative approaches. Regionality and sustainability are a matter of course for us and not marketing instruments”.
The first Vabandln Summit took place at the Hotel Wildkogel Resorts in Bramberg.
After the successful start and the positive feedback on the event, the next “Vabandl Summit” is already in the starting blocks.
