We\u2019ve developed this code of conduct to help create a safe and respectful environment for everyone who works with or at our agency.<\/p>\n

Reporting<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you witness behaviour that violates this code of conduct, please reach out to us at info@chaka2.com or get in touch with anyone from Chaka2\u2019s management team. Chaka2 will treat all reports as important and address the situation – we may ask you for additional information about the offending user or space. Our position is that no harassment of any kind should take place, and all team members have a responsibility to ensure at all time that their own behaviour does not offend others \u2013 and we expect the same from all our partners we collaborate with.<\/p>\n

Unacceptable Behaviour <\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Disrespect towards others, including jokes, stereotyping or dismissive attitudes.<\/li>\n
  • Personal insults, including those related to ability, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, origin or religion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Violence, threats of violence or violent language directed against another person.<\/li>\n
    • Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise discriminatory jokes, language or behaviour.<\/li>\n
    • Unwelcome, suggestive, derogatory or inappropriate nicknames or terms.<\/li>\n
    • Spreading negative and damaging rumors or gossip about other persons.<\/li>\n
    • Inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention or suggestive behaviour.<\/li>\n
    • Mocking, mimicking or belittling a person’s disability or origin.<\/li>\n
    • Deliberate ignoring, exclusion or isolation of other team members.<\/li>\n
    • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Aside this list of unacceptable behaviour, remember that everyone is their own best judge of what they deem offensive and what makes them uncomfortable. Do not continue offensive behaviour if someone asks you to stop.<\/p>\n

      Consequences<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      Anyone who is asked to stop any harassing behaviour is expected to comply immediately. We retain the right to take any actions to keep the agency a welcoming environment for every team member and everyone who\u2019s working with us. This includes warning the offender or exclusion from the agency or ending the relationship with the agency if the situation does not improve.<\/p>\n
